Waiheke Island located in the Hauraki Gulf of new zealand has many beautiful beaches, unique amongst these is Enclosure Bay
Sunday, January 25, 2009
A mother duck takes her children for an early evening paddle across the sparkling waters of Enclosure Bay towards the Dixon holiday residence as it is in 2009... and away from our cat.
"We're going to the bach". or, "down to Waiheke"....or , "On the ferry", short phrases, simple sentences. You know it is said that a picture paints a thousand words.., these few words paint a thousand pictures for me , memories, times I had as a child.. times my children now experience , the same things that generations of children in our family have experienced ...core, basic if you like. The sea, the air, nature... the long drop. Basic, core.. but rich, intricate and beyond price.
