One of, maybe the first, photograph taken of Enclosure Bay. Taken by my great grand mother, Dorothy Nugent in the 1920s. Not alot of trees, sheep didnt eat them so they were replaced with grass... which sheep like. If we could go back in time my first port of call would be the bay, before the Maori and Europeans, when native bush predominated.
