see, sea gull
A veiw of sea and sky from this years holiday in Enclosure Bay, five weeks this year, perfect weather, went by too fast.
The Pohutukawa flower, it must be summer in New Zealand.
The wrinkly feet of children, what hours in the sea does to them.

Why is floating so enjoyable? This is me having my first paddle in the new Kayak during labour weekend 07, despite the photos it was blowing a gale out of the bay so I did not get to go too far. This new year I will go for a more decent paddle, maybe across to the Noises or somewhere.
"We're going to the bach". or, "down to Waiheke"....or , "On the ferry", short phrases, simple sentences. You know it is said that a picture paints a thousand words.., these few words paint a thousand pictures for me , memories, times I had as a child.. times my children now experience , the same things that generations of children in our family have experienced ...core, basic if you like. The sea, the air, nature... the long drop. Basic, core.. but rich, intricate and beyond price.
